An alliance of national organisations supporting safe and accessible active transport for all NewZealanders.

Latest news: Due to the NZ Transport Agency’s ongoing failure to give effect to Government transport policy, especially in regards to the requirement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we have lodged an application for judicial review in the High Court to challenge NZTA’s approval of its National Land Transport Programme 2021-24.  Click here for updates on the judicial review.

1.  Sensible speeds
Adopt international best practice:

30 km/h on urban streets
60 - 80 km/h on undivided rural roads
